Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy describes how refunds and cancellations work for HomePilot subscriptions. Because our subscriptions are sold through different platforms (our website, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store), the refund process varies depending on where you purchased.

Web Subscriptions (Razorpay)

Cancellation

You may cancel your web subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then. No further charges will be made after cancellation.

Refund Eligibility

  • Within 7 days of purchase: Full refund, no questions asked.
  • 8–30 days: Pro-rated refund for unused days may be considered at our discretion.
  • After 30 days: No refund is provided, but you may cancel to stop future charges.
  • Refunds are not provided for partial months or if significant usage has occurred.

How to Request a Refund

Email billing@homepilot.app with your account email and the reason for your refund request. We will process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days. Refunds are credited to the original payment method.

iOS Subscriptions (Apple App Store)

Subscriptions purchased through the iOS app are processed by Apple. HomePilot does not handle billing or refunds for these purchases.

How to Cancel (iOS)

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your name → Subscriptions
  3. Select HomePilot
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription

How to Request a Refund (iOS)

Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID to request a refund. Apple handles all iOS purchase refunds directly.

Android Subscriptions (Google Play)

Subscriptions purchased through the Android app are processed by Google. HomePilot does not handle billing or refunds for these purchases.

How to Cancel (Android)

  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select HomePilotCancel subscription

How to Request a Refund (Android)

Google provides refunds for subscriptions cancelled within 48 hours of purchase. For other cases, visit Google Play Refund Policy.

Exceptions & Special Cases

  • • If HomePilot experiences a service outage exceeding 48 continuous hours, affected users may be eligible for a credit or extension.
  • • Fraudulent or duplicate charges are refunded immediately upon verification.
  • • Free plan users are not charged and are not eligible for refunds.
